It is good to hear the original italian. My preference is to watch peplum films where available in the original language with subtitles. An interesting situation sometimes arises in peplum films where I notice regional hand gestures creeping in or facial expressions which might be totally unknown to other cultures. Has anyone noticed this? Here is a link to some italian hand gestures, the first one being the one that I have noticed more often, also using both hands: https://dailyitalianwords.com/italian-hand-gestures-and-their-meaning/
Hi PeplumTV. A follow-up on my comment about untranslatable italian hand gestures sometimes in peplum films. The following clip has no subtitles or dubbing and is not from a peplum film, but please enjoy. Thank you for such an enjoyable site. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=St5Hho8ms18
Thank you anonymous for the gesure listing. I never knew about these and it's amazing to see how many have been adopted into English and American cultures.
