"One Shot" Petersen and Brad Pitt going over details of a scene. This movie was a computerized mess. Achilles was never in the Trojan Horse because Paris killed him before the Horse was built. The Italian version FURY OF ACHILLES was by far the best version with a modest budget and Gordon Mitchell in the lead role.
Was it that computerized? I thought this was the last time when epic films looked realistic. This and Alexander both of which came the same year had real beautiful sets. In terms of being true to the myths then yes, there were changes. The one that annoyed me was the straight washing of Achilles and Patroclus.
