Been a while since I watched my DVD of it, it's around here somewhere, but is that "Thor the Conqueror"? I enjoyed it more than Ator and certainly more than Iron Master, but not one I've returned to often.
Probably should be ashamed to admit that I know that this is Thor the Conqueror. Which, bizarrely, I saw while on vacation in Athens when it first came out in 1983. As I recall, some gross cannibal stuff at the beginning, then some nasty rape stuff. Or vice versa. A lot of ridiculous "mystical" stuff involving a magical bird or something. A couple of short, mild male bondage scenes. Probably some female semi-nudity. Not much else.
I watched this on YouTube not too long ago. Quality-wise it was a pretty atrocious copy of the movie, as I recall it. It kind of reminds me of some modern zero-budget fantasy films, where the whole plot takes place in that classic setting of the resourceful but poor filmmaker: The woods.

ReplyDeleteTaur the Violent, With Mommy Issues Because She Never Loved Him. I might be wrong, though. I usually am.

ReplyDeleteI'm amazed by how many know this!
ReplyDeleteI've posted about it a few times here at the blog but its not one I've gone over extensively.
