Will Smith and Mena Massoud in ALADDIN (2019)
The live action adaptation of the Disney animated film opens this weekend. I like Arabian adventures and they are often overlooked, even within the PEPLUM genre, but I have to say that this movie looks super cheesy, even by Disney standards.

Speaking of Arabian adventures, the 1979 film Arabian Adventure starring Christopher Lee will debut on Blu-Ray May 28. (I saw it in the theater, and all I remember of it is the climactic flying carpet battle that was obviously inspired by Star Wars.)
That flying carpet battle is great!
We just watched this in 3D in D box which means our seats move and vibrate with some of the movie scenes(fight scenes, flying carpet, etc).. it was awesome and clapping at the end of the movie from audience is a very good sign!!
Could anyone compile a list of Italian peplum films of Arabian adventures. For example, Kindar the invincible
