Great movie! I seem to recall that both of the first Herk films were re-released in the '70s and played the drive-in circuit in the USA. Question: did any of the Peplum films inspire book series? Or was it the other way around? I know D'Annunzio's writings were a big influence on the early Italian muscle men movies.
