I have read that the English language version is much shorter than the original release in Europe. But l have never seen any of the missing scenes. Has it ever been an uncut version released on DVD anywhere? Wayne W.
Wayne, yes the US version is much shorter than the Euro version. But the bulk consists of a ten minute intro that once removed doesn't really make a big different to the story. There are a lot of short scenes throughout the movie, including the brawl in the tavern, which is abbreviated a minute or so.
Brodie, that's a good question. I'll try to enumerate them one day.
The version released in the U.S. by American-International was cut to 80 minutes from the original Italian 95 minutes. There is a Spanish DVD which is full length.
