Hercules (Alan Steel ; Samson in the original) heads his posse of rebel fighters in HERCULES & THE BLACK PIRATES (1964)

A fun film with a typically confusing title. In the opening credits from the US version, it's a singular PIRATE, not PIRATES. In the original Italian title, the hero is Samson and even though that name is familiar with English-speaking audiences (unlike Maciste), the US distributors decided to rename Samson as Hercules.
