This castle in the province of Rome was used in several PEPLUM productions. It's almost always well utilized. It can stand as a spooky place or a beautiful regal place or a dilapidated location, depending of the storyline. It's quite impressive in photos taken from a helicopter.

I recently watched "Throne of Fire", and boy, they sure made the most of this location. I believe I've also seen it in some Charles Band 80's horror flick, but I can't place it at the moment.
