A scene from THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD
Unlike examples I've shown during the last couple of weeks, this is not a set but a large scale model. Humans were added walking across it afterwards with green screen special effect,s to make it appear like it was a big set. The model is intricate and well made but it would have been very costly so going the model route made sense.

In my view THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD is the best of all the Sinbad themed movies.
This is top notch movie magic; encahnting and atmospheric, and the scene sets the stage for a bunch of action and drama coming up.
Enjoying your blog, recently discovered it. Glad to see others appreciate these films so frequently ignored at best and derided at worst.
