Alan Steel (aka Sergio Ciani) as a bound Hercules in HERCULES AGAINST ROME
Steel was often caught in these predicaments, like in HERCULES AGAINST THE MOON MEN. One of the several Italian-born actors who became famous because of the PEPLUM genre. He passed away to years ago. I'm thinking of uploading this at my PEPLUM TV channel. Fun film.
Steel is the perfect Hercules! Beefy and muscled. Right amount of fat and muscle combo! A good representation of a wrestler's body during ancient times in Greece and Rome!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't so easy to break those chains this time because he had allowed himself to be Rome's
ReplyDeleteprisoner as long as they took care of his girlfriend, meaning that by this time he hadn't eaten for 2 weeks at least, so he was kind of weak. The Romans had broken their promise to him and so he had to break out to save her. At first, he gave up when he couldn't do it the first time, but with urging from his buddy he tried again and, of course, succeeded.
