Sequel to the big hit of 1958. Some prefer this film over the first. I like them them the same but I prefer HERCULES. The story in HERCULES UNCHAINED is, hmm, very relaxed, if you know what I mean. Lopez would die soon after making this. A third Hercules film with Reeves was planned but it was cancelled due to scheduling issues with director Pietro Francisci. Reeves only wanted to work with Francisci. Since Francisci wasn't available, Reeves moved on and the project was jettisoned, and sorta morphed into GOLIATH & THE DRAGON (aka The Vengeance of Hercules).
