  2. As a relatively new reader of this site, I fully concur! The knowledge and passion that you display for Peplum films is simply astonishing! It's really great to see such a Peplum-phile put his knowlage into words, and I've learned a lot reading them!

I mean, take this post from 2011 for instance, where you track the twenty-year career of the red-leather-furry-tunic-thingamajig! :D That you even notice minute things like this is really impresive to see. Keep up the great work!

  3. Your attention to detail and your chronicling of Peplum history, even down to props and costumes, is why I love this blog, because I've sat there many a time seeing the same swords and tunics pop up in several films, and wondering about their history. Some of these things have a real pedigree. For example, some of the swords weilded by the heroes in "Jason and the Argonauts" seem to have been used in "Fury of Achilles, and are visible as background details in Ridley Scott's "Legend". So thanks for all you efforts. I'm looking forward to a delightful 2016!
