One of the more poetic moments of the PEPLUM genre. Michèle is still alive (!) but Henri died tragically young (link to TRAGIC STARS).

    This is a really first class movie, primarily because it does not let its Christian theme become to syrupy.

    I was discussing this just yesterday with a peplum fanatic on IMDB. There are some great posters for FABIOLA but it only seems available in Italian. Yes Michele Morgan is in her mid 90s, but Vidal died at 40 n 1959.
