Rory Calhoun (second from left) and Gianna Maria Canale (lady on the right) star in THE TREASURE OF MONTE CRISTO (1961)
Watching this film you sorta wonder for whom it was made for: it's too low key for kids and too pulpy for adults. The interesting thing about this small film is the fact that Gianna speaks wonderful English in it. Someone uploaded the film on Youtube.
Gianna from what I understand did make a couple other movies in which she spoke English. One that comes to mind is GO FOR BROKE with Van Johnson in 1951. I'm not sure, but didn't she also use English in a lot of the peplums that were dubbed? It seems that because she made movies with American and English actors also if you watch closely you can tell that she is speaking English as did many other European actors.
