Not one of my favourite films of the PEPLUM era. The story is too convoluted and its all over the map which pretty much zaps any fun to be had from it. I try to like it but it gets under my skin for all the wrong reasons. Oh well...

I enjoy this movie as does the whole family. It's a lot of fun and the production values are very good as is the beautiful color. It's a welcome change from many other Peplum films especially since there is no stock footage used.
I found this movie to be disappointing. Frankly, I have never especially cared for Donald O'Connor.
Can't help but enjoy the bondage and torture scenes involving Noelle Adam!
Noelle Adam is a French dancer. Notice how her beautiful toes point balletically downward when she is being tortured.
