Excellent production values, good action, good cast. A surprisingly solid and entertaining film. In fact, all of the Sandokan films, including those with Steve Reeves as Sandokan, are good fun.

Then there's The Tigers of Mompracem (1970) starring Ivan Rassimov and then Kabir Bedi played Sandokan in a miniseries and some TV movie. There are also 2 Sandokan films from the 1940s which are hard to get.

How many SANDOKAN Movies were made? I have both of Steve's. I don't think that I ever saw any of the others.
