Buster Keaton in the Ancient Rome segment of THREE AGES (1923)

This film consists of 3 short segments taking place at different time periods: Caveman, Ancient Rome and Modern time. This film was meant to be seen as a parody of DW Griffith's INTOLERANCE when in fact Buster simply stitched 3 short films together. Buster thought that if the final film flopped that he could always sell the 3 segments individually. The film is on Youtube.
