Giuliano Gemma : R.I.P.

Sad news about the passing of Italian actor Giuliano Gemma. He was involved in a car accident yesterday and died at the hospital due to injuries from the accident. Articles in the press all talk about his Spaghetti Westerns films but he was first and foremost a PEPLUM star. It's quite sad that he lived up to 75 and died in such a tragic way. Giuliano won a David di Donatello, the Italian Oscar, in 1976 for his performance in DESERT OF TARTARS.
