Remus (Gordon Scott) is soothed by Tarpeia (Ornella Vanoni) in DUEL OF THE TITANS
Nice photo. Their relationship in the film didn't make much sense to me or it seemed forced. There's very little warmth between them, this photo notwithstanding.
This film is one of those in the genre that's highly regarded mostly by non-fans of the PEPLUM genre. People who usually hate PEPLUM films actually like this one and it's probably because, with Sergio Corbucci directing, it feels more like a Spaghetti Western than a HERCULES-type of Sword & Sandal epic. It reminds me of the brilliant Robert Taylor western WESTWARD THE WOMEN.
