Jeff Chandler is the main star of A STORY OF DAVID
When this was released in 1962 in the USA, Jeff had been dead for a while. He tragically died in mid-June of 1961. I admit that this film is not in my collection and I've never seen this film.

This is a good movie, and one that Hollywood did a good job with by sticking to the story of the relationship between Saul and David. I'm not sure, but I think it was made in Isreal.
