Edwige Fenech, as Poppaea, watches Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia argue (with Karin Schubert) in SATIRICOSISSIMO

One of those Italian PEPLUM comedies from the 1970s with no English version, including subtitles. Edwige missed the PEPLUM explosion from a decade ago and this role sorta makes up for it. Franco is wearing one of those Mole Men helmets from MACISTE VS MOLE MEN. I wonder if any of those helmets still exist.

  1. I have watched this movie several times. it's quite funny, I and my father love it. one of the funniest lines is when Nero is singing and the soldiers say: "cane, Nero!" which in Latin of course means "sing, o Nero!, but in Italian "cane nero" means "black dog", so franco franchi says "cane, nero", too and when ciccio asks him why he is saying so, franco answers: "he really sings like a black dog!", meaning that Nero was a very bad singer.
