Last Starring Roles
THE TRIUMPH OF MACISTE has not 1 but 2 actresses who appeared in their last starring role. Every time I watch the film I always wonder what exactly happened for the two to call it quits. Admittedly Liuba wasn't the greatest actress but Cathia had a solid career prior to this film and then disappeared from the face of the earth.
