Upcoming film project: GODS BEHAVING BADLY


A film production on Marie Phillips' book GODS BEHAVING BADLY is currently in production. The story of Greek gods living in New York city is, of course, a comedy. I haven't read the book yet but I've seen the cast for the film and it's, well, controversial to say the least. It doesn't sound too promising.



Alicia Silverstone and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will be the mortals while John Turturro will portray Hades, Sharon Stone will be Aphrodite (!) and Christopher Walken is Zeus (!!). Looks like a straight-to-dvd production. There's more about this, over who will play Apollo, which I'll mention next week.

    Well, Chris Walken can be funny in anything, so he should be good in this one as well, unless the script is so dreadful that not even he could save it. None of the other people seem right for their parts in the least.
