The last person I expected to post on this blog is Madonna and of course there was this thing called the Super Bowl yesterday and Madonna was to perform (lip-sync) during the half-time show. No one expected this though which is, even if I'm not a fan of hers, terribly fun in a OTT way. Her entrance was a mixture of Roman, Egyptian, the look of IMMORTALS and in the end creating a Babylonian feel. Madonna looked like the Queen of Babylon. Tongue in cheek for sure.

I was very surprised by the show, and I'm also not a fan of hers. It was a true PEP in many ways and very classy. One quick question: Is the movie that they are pushing JOHN CARTER considered a PEP FANTASY?
Regarding John Carter in my view yes but I have to see it. But I know a lot of comic book artists have created tons of work based/inspired etc on it many which I've posted here and it's PEPLUM for sure.
I have to say it was pretty spectacular. Love you blog, by the way!
