Sergio Ciani (aka Alan Steel) as Hercules in SAMSON & THE MIGHTY CHALLENGE
Oddly enough, many consider this as being one of THE worst films ever made. I disagree, of course.
I read a review today from another blog that trashed it. Aside from the subplot with the young lovers, which is tedious, the rest is fine. I don't see why it's so hated. I believe it made up to IMDb's worst 100 films list, at one point.

I just got the Italian widescreen of this in good color ... love the early scenes of nymphs frolicking on the beach and lounging in the surf ... I will check it out and reconsider
isn't this the one about the four strength heroes, who get together for some kind of contest? If so, I loved the fight between Machiste and that other guy, you know, yea, that one...
I have this film and anything with Alan Steel in it has to be good.
