Mads Mikkelsen as One Eye in VALHALLA RISING (2009)
Beautifully shot film that's a great showcase for digital filmmaking. Few people like this film because it's not your average action film but the cinematography alone makes this worth watching. I read somewhere someone describing it as a Terrence Malick film with extreme violence.

How can you say " beautifully Shot film" when the color was suppressed to almost no color.
If this was a movie from the "60's you would say that this was a faded washed out print.I saw portion of this film and I agree that it could have been a good film, pity about the color.
There's no problem with the color. The print I have the colors are fantastic. Some scenes are greyish because it's cloudy but sunny scenes, the greens are green and the blue sky is blue. Dunno what you're talking about.
Besides, cinematography is not just color. It's composition, depth of field, movement, etc, all of which were great. Even if the colors were muted, it wouldn't change those aspects.
