CAPTAIN SINDBAD (with a D; Guy Williams) is blocked by a mischievous giant hand, preventing him from rescuing the girl.
I've finally got a hold of a beautiful copy of this film. I probably saw it when I was a kid but I remember very little from it so it's all new to me.
Not as good as Harryhausen epics but, still, a lovely fantasy-adventure movie!
ReplyDeleteA decent movie with good production values. Movie that played with it as part of double bill was THE SLAVE.
ReplyDeleteNot a good film but a fun film. I loved it as a kid in spite of the rubber alligators running on tracks. It showed on TCM and I saw why I loved it. It's very cheap but looks great. There is a wonderful sense of fun and light-hardheartedness and something magical and fun going on almost all the time.
