The story of Christ told through Mary's life. A fairly standard Italian PEPLUM with a good cast except for Yvonne, who was simply too old to play Mary or, as in how the film wants us to believe her to be: a woman of desire who influences practically every men she comes in contact with. It's a bit of a stretch.
