The simple poster promises something akin to DANTE'S INFERNO while showcasing the film's best asset: Dan's physique. This pose/scene actually happens in the film so it doesn't come from the artist's imagination. I know this 'cause I made a gif animation of this very scene years ago. I guess the German advertising department, the artist and I thought the same thing when we noticed this shot: impressive.

Not even elephants are stronger than he is. But he tuckers out after just a little while. What if his dad the Sun hadn't broken his chains? He would have been defeated. Indeed, he already was. That is very cool.
