This Feat of Strength is a fairly standard one in Italian Sword & Sandal films but in this film there's a twist: if Ursus can't keep the horses close together, his girlfriend Mila (Claudia Mori) will be torn apart. This scene rocks! Actually the entire film is pure PEPLUM fun. It's one of those films I can watch over and over again. I have this in the 4:3 English version and a widescreen (Italian or Spanish) version. I need to do a Fan Dub of it but WILD WILD PLANET already has a Fan Dub version of this film and played it several times months ago and I watched it every time.
Many dismiss Italian Sword & Sandal films as cheap knock-offs trying to compete with Hollywood Biblical Epics but have you ever seen a moment like this in a Hollywood Biblical film?

This is one of my favorite movies too!! One difference between Hollywood and Euro films was that when the studios in this country were losing money and threatening to go bankrupt they would make a big spectacle like BEN HUR to save their a** , while the other guys were turning out the so-called cheaper epics and making a mint by doing so.
